He also was involved in the due diligence process for new assets being considered for purchase. Prior to that, Mr. Sharif spent 7 years in various sales, marketing and IT related positions, creating an extensive experience base in information technology, marketing and customer service. Prior to CommPros, he served as Director of IT for Daston/Vytek based in Newport Beach. He received both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Chapman University and holds a California Broker's License and a California Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Mike brings over 30 years of diversified real estate experience to Newport Horizons. He has most recently served in the capacity of Director for CommPros, Inc. a full service Real Estate Company which manages over 2.5 million square feet of commercial real estate throughout the country. As Director, he is responsible for the oversight of the purchasing and disposition decisions for the direct owned commercial property portfolio, as well as direction of the owned/third party managed property management, asset management and accounting functions. Prior to CommPros, Mr. Sharif was co-founder of Pan Pacific, Inc., a development, construction and management company which focuses on all facets of commercial and residential real estate . Mr. Sharif holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from George Washington University with an emphasis in Finance and Management and has been involved in commercial real estate since 1987.
